Porc

Porc is a restaurant concept created by a group of distinguished Miami chefs. The restaurant seeks to present barbeque in a new and modern fashion. Billed as "South Florida BBQ", it is an innovative take on traditional American fare. With the growing popularity of upscale-casual quick-serve restaurants, as well as a growing fascination with healthy, well-prepared foods, Porc couples these gastronomic interests and fuses them with our beloved comfort foods.



At the time I was working on logos, the restaurant's name underwent several changes. The name itself had connotations to it which directed the evolution of the visuals-  so as the name changed, so did the style of the illustration. The final choice, Porc, works with the concept of reintroducing something familiar by simply manipulating a common word. The final style of the logo also represents a slight departure from the familiar. The graphic is presented with a sophistication to it, which departs from the cartoonish branding of conventional barbeque restaurants.
